Mac address cloning

Hi folks,

I'm trying to assign a Mac address to my le0 interface. However, Sun uses different Mac address formats. Well the format looks different anyway. How would I properly assign this Mac address (0010.a507.dc7e) to my le0 interface using the sun format?

Suns format looks like this 8:0:20:7a:24:1. Do I omit the zeros in the first Octet?

Did you try:

# ifconfig le0 ether 0:10:a5:07:dc:7e
