I am having no luck connecting an Imac to my linksys router. IT is the second mac and third machine on the 3o4 ports. I suspect Explorer 4.1 should be updated even though linksys book says only 4.0 needed. Can any one confirm that os 9.* would be more preferable? My linksys could use a bios flash but I would like to simply find the 10/100 disable option in os 8.5 before I invest too much time...I have tried to "clean install" the 8.5 system and have 9.(1 or 2) and osX available from the same owner of the mac in question.
