Hi !
I know this subject seems to be quite clear but i am a little lost.
Everytime i run any command through cli interface in my MA8000 storage system i get this message:
"Cache battery is near its end of life, it should be replaced SOON. Run frutil to replace."

I also receive this note at the end:
"Battery:
NOUPS
DANGER: BATTERY LIFETIME HAS EXPIRED, REPLACE BATTERY NOW!
Cache battery is sufficiently charged
Shelf 3 fixed
Shelf 4 fixed
Controller shelf fixed
Cache battery is near its end of life, it should be replaced SOON. Run frutil-
to replace."

Nevertheless, each HSG80 controller work properly so i wonder what's wrong and what should i do.

Thanks for your help,
Best regards,

I meant I know i should exchange the batteries asap in order not to lose write cache in case of a power down failure.
But if i clean cli messages i stop receiving those errors and only receive a message like this:
DANGER: BATTERY LIFETIME HAS EXPIRED, REPLACE BATTERY NOW!

My question is: Is this a proble only with the date (2 years) of the battery life or is it a real error message ?

I have just come back from holydays and maube am saying nonsenses...

All Best regards!
