M8 Caller ID Interface system Minimum

Will an M8 CLID Interface work on a DR1 or DR3 software?

If not, what do I search for on ebay to get a cheap DR5.1 software cartridge? I want to donate a Norstar DR3 system to a Convent where the Nuns took care of my sick Grandmother.

Found some software cartridges for $20 on ebay.....

So will the M8 CLID Interface only work with DR5.1? I should also say the system is an 8x24 non DS, but they don't have voicemail, so that won't be an issue.

Joe,

The M8 only works on a 616 or a 824 with DR5 or higher (DS or non-DS). Lower releases don't have the programming to set the caller ID phone. I might have a DR5 cartridge in my stock.
