I have a pair of 80GB WD HDDs with 8 meg buffers. The serial raid controller on my mb isn't detecting the slave drive (on the parallel connector)so I can't s/u the array. Biostar, Promise and WDD are no help. I have tried every combination of jumers on both drives as well as bios updates on the board and the drives. They both work well on the standard IDE channels. I am pulling out what little hair that I have left. Any suggestions ?
