M7410 CORDLESS HANDSET.

I have an M7410 cordless handset. I plug the phone itnot a port and the handset says' "scanning". It then comes back and says' " out of range". I am standing right next to the base unit while this is happening. Any ideas?

Mismatched handset to base or hosed unit.
The're a pain.

make shur the battery on the handset is charged up!

place the handset on the base and plug the power in and plug the line cord in.

any base will work on any handset if you do it like this
