I have a customer with an MICS 6.1 software running an M7324 with 2 CAP modules as the main receptionists "console". It has started to lock up in that all LCD arrows come on and stay on preventing any call handling at the set. Sometimes the set re-initializes on its own and comes back. Over the weekend it stayed locked up for 2 days. Any ideas?
This set has been handling heavy traffic for only 15 years and several upgrades. Doesn't anything last anymore?

YOU DIDN'T MENTION IF YOU HAD CHANGED THE 7324 OR THE CAPS, A FEW RELEASES BACK THERE WAS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM BUT THAT WAS AROUND RELEASE 4

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

You probably have a keypad membrane (mylar) in the 7324 that is either worn out or dirty. You could get the phone refurbished or get a good refurbished replacement. After 15 years, I believe that phone deserves to be replaced and displayed in a place of honor.

Thanks to all that replied. I'll give these suggestions a try.
