M7310 picks up incorrect extension

Sorry if this question seems basic, but we have just bought some 7310 units to replace our existing rental phones (also a meridian phone). All transferred fine and picked up the extension and settings except one. This one seems to think that it is extension 228 which is unused. Plugging in the original phone works fine. I've been through the admin menu and haven't seen a place to force the phone to use another extension. How do I do this?

What Norstar system?
What software level?

It sounds like set relocation was on when swapping out phones. You will need to get into programming at change Dn.

I am also trying to change the extension on a phone and was hoping to get the answer to the above. I am extremly green with our phone system and just know that we all have Meridian phones. Any help is appreciated!

turn off set relocation before changing the set , or just turn off set relocation period.. it causes more troubles than it's worth.
