I am programming a CICS KSU with 6.1 software.
Im using NRU through a RAD to program the system.

Here is my issue.

I program DN 222 for a T7316 set, which is what will be punched down to that port. I then plug a T7316 set into the port and the system sees it as a M7310 and dfaults all my button programming back to defaults for that 7310 handset.

This is really wierd!!!

I've notice this on All releases. From what I've seem this is normal as all T7316 default out with a M7310 button layout.

I believe it has to be a T7316e (the 'e' is for enhanced) for the 6.1 software to recognize the phone as a 7316.
The older T7316 will still emulate a M7310.
