Customer wants to use the dual memory button feature for speed dialing and wants to program 24 speed dial numbers in to the 7310's 12 Memory buttons.

I know there is a way to do this by using the SHIFT button but I can not find any instructions on how to program numbers or features into these buttons for dual operation.

I have the cust. user guide but it only mentions programming a single number or feature into each button nothing about using the SHIFT button.

Any docs available. It can't be that hard to do.

When programing the button say feature * 1 press shift then the button then enter the number. That will put on the shift of the button. To use the button press shift then the button and it will use the number programed under shift.

Use f*2 for internal extensions. There should be a "cheat sheet" under the handset of your phones, with a list of most commonly used feature codes.

The shift button allows you to use the top half of the button. To use the bottom half, just hit the button without using the shift button.
