M7100 digital set on BCM400 4.0 SW

BCM Gurus,

I am upgrading a Norstar 824 to BCM 400 4.0 SW. This customer has a bunch of M7100 sets they want to use. Will the old M7100 work on the new BCM 400? I seem to recall an issue using some of the M series sets on the BCM.

I don't think that you will be able to use the 7100N models as I had the same problem when I tried, but the newer 7100T versions work fine.

M-series will work.

The only problem with older M-series sets is if your customer uses copper lines he will have to adjust the volume continuously on external calls.Not a problem if you sell him the idea of a PRI at the same time.
