M3904 stopped logging missed calls.

A user put in a trouble ticket about their M3904 phone suddenly no longer logging missed calls. It shows how many missed calls on the screen, but when you go into the callers list it shows 0 zero calls in the log. It still logs outbound calls fine. There have been no changes to the TN in years (CNDA and DNDA are still alive and well). I replaced the set and the new set works fine. I tried a firmware upgrade from version 092 to 094 on the set in question (our CS1K is on version 7.6) with no change. The problem seems to be with the set itself as it has the same problem on the 2 other TNs I use for testing. Any idea how to reset this in the phone? The phone is in great shape otherwise, I'd hate to spend $200 on a new one if I don't have to, times are tough, haha!

M3904 Taurus sets with Firmware 87.
The set is configured as follows for the Call log feature;

OPTIONS > CALL LOG OPTIONS, LOG UNANSWERED CALLS

The M3904 set should log only unanswered calls but is logging both answered and unanswered calls.

Callers Log on Taurus sets M3903 and M3904 not updating
CLS must be CNDA and CPND must be configured

The M3903 model stores the last 10 incoming calls and the last 5 outgoing calls. The M3904 stores the last 100 incoming calls and the last 20 outgoing calls.
With a CLS of CNDD no calls will be stored.
The CPND data block must also be configured in LD95, or the sets will register outgoing calls but no incoming.

I would assume that perhaps the log is full and needs resetting. I don't have a M3904 to play with, but you could follow the suggestion to look in the Call log options to see if you can reset anything?.

Drill down into options menu > call log options > select > be sure new call indication is on. it can be turned off by users
 
New call indication was on, I even turned it off and on again but no change. Also ensured 'Log all calls' was enabled (also switch to 'Log unanswered calls', no change). The problem is definitely the phone as other sets work fine on the same TN.
