I've a customer who is insisting on wireless headsets for their M3904 phones. They want to be able to walk around the workcenter and answer calls directly from the headset.
There are plenty of headsets that can do this, but the sticking point is the need for a handset lifter. For some reason, this customer is absolutely adamant that they do not want to use a handset lifter.
Problem is...electronic hook switch cables are available for many other phones, but apparently not the M3904. It doesn't seem the phone's innards permit anything that doesn't involve lifting the handset.
They don't have any 1100-series IP deskphones, nor licensing for IP users, and budgetary concerns preclude the purchase of either.
I've scoured the interwebs trying to find a solution, but to no avail. Does anyone in these forums know of something that might work?
