M3900 SERIES SETS FIRMWARE UPGRADE

got to LD 32
at hte . prompt type FDLF TN
Where TN is the TN of set you want to upgrade firmware on
for example: if my set is on tn 4.0.12.2 I would enter
.FDLF 4 0 12 2<enter>
the download takes 10 to 15 minutes. don't do anything else in the switch until it is done

Be carefull when you upgrade the M3902's. If your firmware is below (If I remember correct) 81 the predial function doesn't work for 100%.
If you predial a "*" it deletes the *'s and dials the number, gives a very nice effect when someone tries to dial a speed call entry: **0112.
0 for outside line and 112 for the national alarm number in The Netherlands.....

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
