I recently had to install an M2616Ct (cordless) set and it is having issues (I know - site has old tech <g>). Firstly, the battery took over 24 hours to charge. Now that the handset works, I noticed when I depress key 14 of the main set a display showing 'auto' comes up. I figured out it means that when that key 14 is active, only the handset can pick up the call.
The install booklet/quick reference guide - Meridian Digital Telephones and Options : M2006, M2008/M2008HF, M2616, M2216ACD, M2016S Secure set - The last line of the inside cover says to refer to "..the documentation packaged with the M2616CT" (??!!)
I've been trying to locate any set information regarding this display and any other possibles that may arise. Does anyone know these sets and/or now how I may get information on them?
