Has anyone seen a 2616 where the keylamps don't work, but the display and all other functions seem to work? I guess the LCD for the lamps could just be bad, just didn't know if there was a setting somewhere that disabled keylamps?

if you mean the actual phone keylamps and not an add on module, try resetting the phone, either dsbl it or unplug and re-plug in! sounds like the phone went bad though!

IF YOU HAVE THE TIME ON THRE DISPLAY AND THE KEYS DON'T FUNCTION THE TN IS DISABLED IN SOFTWARE

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

A useful tip with digital phones is if you suspect the unit as faulty if you unplug it and hold down the rls key when you replug it the tele will go into local test mode the lcd displat and associated keys will flash and keys/buttons can be tested. I sounds as if your unit may have become disabled, if this is a constant problem across your system remove 30 out of the DROL (midnight routine schedule)

Notice that you have to have MWA (message wait alowed) on the set to make it turn on the lamp.

Set up a key on your own telephone so you can test lamps on other sets.
Key=message wait activation and message wait cancelation

Think this is the names on the keys.
They are really good to have on your own extension.
