Hello,

So to explain my issue – we have a main switchboard number for which calls get evenly distributed between 2 M2250 operator consoles. Due to technological advancements in other areas of the business we need to be able to capture CTI events from all our phones and the M2250’s don`t support cti. SO, I`m looking at 2 options – either replace the M2250 operator consoles with an equivalent modern product that does feature CTI event capability or to replace the M2250’s with standard phones (like 2616/3905/IP2004) and perhaps set them up within a contact centre 6 environment. Lets say we go down the road of replacing with standard phones – one key feature our reception team use on the op consoles is the ability to take a call – put it on hold (this frees up their line), take another call and then come back to the original call they put on hold (is this call parking or looping??) – would like to know if this can be done with ‘normal’ phones??

Any advice you can give on this would be appreciated.

Thanks very much

See that DB25 on the back of the M2250?...no, the other one - the one that has nothing plugged into it.

There you go.
