m2250 emergency button??

Does anyone know how to program an emergency button
on an M2250 console that will ring on many phones (similar to like ahotline key that will
notify 4 or 5 users that there is a emergency?

you can use group call or mcr, group call rings until everyone in the group answers, mcr calls all stations and one persons gets the call.

use a blank button on the sets, mcr xxxx, use the same mcr number for all phones and yes the person that answers 1st is it.

pick an unused ext and simply program it on each set as MCR 1234. Up to 30 sets can have this MCR appearance

key xx MCR 1234

Whatever MCR ext you end up using you can put on the console as an autodial and then simply label it EMERGENCY or something. That may be helpful to you.

I can't seem to locate key 10 the one I changed to ADL 4 7000. Where would key 10 be?

Or maybe I can;t even change this key

If key 10 can't be changed which key should I modify?

NTP says you can use keys 0-19 for M2250 console; how are you trying to program this key? post your steps.

however when i go to the console, can't find key 10 I tried comparing it to the rest did not work?

You probably have to SHIFT somewhere to access key 10 (maybe!). I'll try to find out in the NTP.

coniglio is correct. your right most key strip is numbered 0-9, then you shift and have 10-19.
