m2250 Console Required?

Hi. We are still operating an older Meridian system with an m2250 console. It is having continuing aging issues and could certainly be replaced by a smaller, more functional unit. My cohort here and I seem to remember that it has to be on the PBX for the system to operate? Can anyone shine any light on this? Thanks as always!

No, the console is not require for the PBX to run or function. Just unplug it and test your inbound call routing to see where you need to make modifications.

The issue is when you remove the console the system will be in night mode continuously. So it will follow the Night 1 Data
