I have a customer with a Nortel PABX running R4.5.
They have a M2250 console with Attendant Overflow Position setup to go to a M3904.

They use CallPilot voice mail with the revert dn in each mailbox set to go to the operator on dial level 0.
The problem with this is that transfered calls do not overflow with AOP so callers who press 0 when listening to a message just queue at the console and do not overflow.

I would use NAS but there needs to be one call waiting in the console queue before any calls will overflow from the console.

Does anyone have a solution or work around for the above problem they have used successfully.

Any help would be welcome.

Try:

LD 15 - ATT_Data
AODN <-- location to send calls
AQTT <-- timer in seconds

The above info will send calls to an overflow location if the call is in que at the console

The below info will send calls to an alternate location if call is presented to the console

LD 15 - ATT_Data
ATIM <-- timer in seconds
LD 12 -
AADN <-- extension of alternate location
