I have an end user for a Nortel M2250 console who wants to know how to bridge 2 console calls together without hanging up and conferencing them. Example she gets a call, places it on hold to page the doctor, the doctor calls the console and she wants to bridge them together

First - here is a 2250 user guide:
Second - what a good question, but I'm embarassed to say I am not sure it can work. But the feature would be called Call Join (not a 2250 feature to my knowledge). It might be worth trying it this way, like it works on regular telsets:

-You have a patient call on hold on Loop Key 0
-You are currently talking to a Doc on a Loop Key 1
-Press Conference.
-Press the Loop Key with the waiting caller
-Press Conference.

This is very weird. I was just being asked by our receptionist is this is possible. She wants to page someone to have them call the console and connect them to a waiting caller.

Who is psychic?

You might want to check in to call park. Instead of paging back to your ext, just page them back to the park extension, this way it frees up the receptionist for the next caller.

Ha, trvlr1...that requires a trick of sorts (but it can work).

If both the patient and doctor are outside of the system, you have two external calls. The Doc needs to retrieve the parked caller/patient. You can do that with a thru-dialer, where the doc calls into it, then dials an FFC for Park Retrieve + the Park Number and poof, they are joined.

However, get a Doc to do that...there's the challenge.
