i have an M2250 console. My Octel voicemail DN is 5000. How can the console operator transfer callers directly to a user's mailbox without actually calling the extension and ringing it four times? for example, if i want her to simply transfer me to mailbox 7098 without ringing the user, how does she do that? i think everyone else can do it by pressing TRANSFER then 5000** then 7098 but she most definitely cannot. Thank you.

when your joperator dials the 2nd set of numbers, she needs to turn on the ees key on the right side of the consle ,,,because m2250s do not have any tones, they are fully digital. prob your ees key is on the far right row and prob. 3rd key from bottom. when this key is tured on it allows tones to be heard, this must be done for the m2250

She has to dial the Express Messaging number, it might be 5001. on my switch it's 7778 for Express Messaging and 7777 fo Vmail

no express messaging. not lucky enough to have MerMail. Have octel instead. I got my answer from my vendor, though, so thanks anyway.
