Hi,

I will be taking to SQL Admin course M2072 in January and it suggests as a prerequsite some T-SQL knowledge. This is my first SQL course.

I know a little basic T-SQL (just building a table and adding data) but not much else and was wondering what level I will be expected to know for the exam if any. I will probably have to read some stuff on the net to bring me up to speed but not sure which areas to concentrate on.

Cheers,

Steve

Sorry.

The exam I'll be taking after this course is 070-228 I believe.

I've taken the 2072 cource for fun (I didn't have to pay for it) and that's probably enough T/SQL knoweldge to get through the class. You'll probably want a little more then that for the test, but you will pick up a little bit during the class. For the most part this class and test are using Enterprise Manager to take care of the system, not to actually write code.

Thanks Denny,

You've put my mind at rest! Will do some basic reading and practise before hand anyway and for anything I'm not sure of after the class I'll have two weeks to cram in before the exam. Damn tight deadlines!
