M series to T series transition

I have a 0x32 installed with DR 6 and I recently made the transition from M7310s to T7316s but the systems identifies them incorrectly. They all show up as 7310s and show 34 buttons per set.

They also give me problems when copying from one set to another. Any solution for this short of re-initialization?

The T7316E button number assignment depends on the software version of the KSU.
Each T7316E should ship with a button mapping instruction sheet. The mapping changed at Norstar ICS 6.1 and higher, and BCM 3.5 and higher. No need to re-initialize anything. That would not change anything. All older than 6.1 software sees the T7316 and T7316E phones as 7310's.
Try to find one of the button charts.
