Hi,

I know this is a potentially silly question, but here goes:

How do you insert an M-dash (or long hyphen) into a notes document (on a PC)? You're meant to be able to do this by pressing alt-F1 and then entering the LMBCS code, but whenever I do this I just get Notes Help (and my alt button does work!)

Any ideas?

Well, you could just open up the Character Map on your computer and find the Em Dash in the font panel and copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into your document.

Have you tried hitting the alt key alone and using the numberpad on your keyboard to enterthe number.

I think the number you want to input is alt + 0151. Mike
