Hi.
It's my first time in this forum.
I've made a big mistake ans I don't know if i have solution.
Scenario
host with ESXi 6.0,
NAS d-link sharecenter-pro 1200-05 with 1 RAID1 volume for NFS and CIFS, 1 RAID1 volume for iSCSI, 1 stand-alone disc for NFS ans cifs.
Normally, this NAS format in ext3 FS.
In ESXi I had two datastores: 1 with the NFS volume and 1 as a LUN in the iSCSI volume
After a disks change I was organising every thing and I moved two important VM from the NFS to the iSCSI.
It worked well.
Then I went to make the backup.........
After an electrical problem I decided restart all things.: shutwown the host, restart the NAS, and switch on the host.
After that, the iSCSI lun was not visible.
I tried to reconnect and, finally it was reconnected, but...... no VM's inside.
I never got a message like "if fou continue all data will be lost".
I have not do any thing , in order to rescue those very important VM'
My question:
Should be possible to reconnect correctly with the lun and see vm's ??
Is it better unplug on of the disks (degrading the raid) and plug it in a computer with VMFS driver and rescue tools ?
I have not enough knowledge about it and I am very worried.
Thanks in advanced
