I have a Partner R2 in one location, the customer is moving to another location and we are going to get a new system Partner R4, is there any way to copy the configurations from the R2 system onto the new system R4?

You can not take info from an older release and download it onto a newer release. You might be able to save some money and just flash your old processor up to a R4.

EGNALC,

If you had a Partner ACS processor in the original location, you might be anble to do the upgrade like Faffy mentioned, but with the old processor being a P2, it isn't possible.

I also think that you loose all programming on the existing ACS processor when you flash upgrade it to a newer version.

If I am incorrect in that comment ... please advise but be sure you can flash with ALL the upgrades to R5.0. I think that the first upgrade R1.0/1.1 to R2.0 may not overight the existing programming, but I think the later ones do - R3.0/R4/0/R5.0.

Andy is correct if you don't have a ACS processor you can not upgrade.

But, if you do and you upgrade it will keep all your programming and flash it up.
