The problem is that i've a Pc behind a firewall and it use the NAT (network address traslation) in hide mode; the pc must contact a server by internet, the connection between the pc and the internet server is established but after few minutes the connection drops, because the "keep alive packet" is lost.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Best regards.

What router are you using to run NAT? Does it have an IPSec pass-through feature? If so, make sure you have that enabled.

I don't have the Nat on the router that is a Cisco 2600 with ios 12.1.
I have the nat on the firewall that is a chekpoint.
Do yiu think that i need the Ipsec pass-through feature on the firewall ?

Yes, you will need to have ipsec pass-through on whatever device is running NAT for your network. Doesn't matter if it's the firewall, proxy server, router, or whatever. It's just usually I see this on the router.
