Lucent CA-48 1

I am trying to install a Lucent CA-48 Intercom Autodialer. TouchTone Tommy helped with information about the splitter and power supply. However, the splitter that came with this unit is made in such a way that it will not fit properly into the bottom of the CA-48. I hook the incoming phone line into the AUX of the CA-48. A 4 conductor cable from the LINE OUT of the CA-48 to the LINE of the telephone. When doing so the phone itself works fine. However, the CA-48 does not light up, and I see no way of making this particular splitter work. The modular cord from the power supply only fits one way so I am sure I got that part right. This cord has 8 pins terminated at the power supply end but only the right 2 pins terminated on the other end. This 8 pin connection will only fit into the splitter one way. The bottom part of the splitter will only allows for a 4 pin connector. And the two pins on that end look like they carry power only. I am questioning whether they have supplied the right splitter with this. Are there any diagrams availabe somewhere that shows the right connection? I have looked the web high and low and can't find nothing on this product. Thanks for any help given!!!

The splitter plugs into the Jack on the WALL, the power cable goes from one side of the splitter to the power cube. An 8-conductor goes from the other side of the splitter to the IN jack of the CA-48 (it carries the voice/data partner signals and the power to the CA-48), then run a 4-conductor line cord from the OUT jack of the CA-48 to the LINE jack of the Partner phone.
