Lucent 4412d+ ringing

How do I make a 4412d+ telephone ring on a Lucent telephone system? What are the potential ramifications of such telephone ringing w/ a voice mail box attached to it...like a Norstar with the call forwarding to voice mail set to too few rings, for example, where the user's mail box inadvertanty answers incoming calls before they get to the Auto Attendant.

The simplest answer to this question is get some basic training on the product and forget EVERYTHING you know about Nortel programming, line appearances etc. it is not relevant to IPO programming

to make a 4412 ring.
dial its extn number

To route an external call to an extn,
set up an incoming call route - destination extn to ring

To ring multiple extns on one number
create a hunt group
set-up incoming call route - destination Group to ring

how do I stop a users VM answering before the AA
User VM does not affect group calls.

if you have any line appearance keys delete them & program the system properly.
