LTO tape recovery

Hi there,

Does anyone know if there is any piece of software, that can access LTO tapes in RAW mode? I have been looking for any information on the net, but there isn't too much on that.
For example, commercial companies which specialize in tape data recovery, must use some generic software to recover data from damaged / formatted tapes....

Any ideas greatly appreciated.
