Below is the text and code for a site, I'm using dummy text.
I'd like to use H1 for the "Search Engines" text as its the main keyphrase. I'd use a stylesheet class to control the size etc and make it inline rather than a block. This would obviously look incorrect in browsers that didn't support stylesheets. Would anyone have any other suggestions that would also bear in mind SEO?

<p>This is the introduction for this test dummy text. The site is about <h1 class="intro">Search Engines</h1> blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blahl bl blah blah dkdk dkdkdkdkdkdk dkdkdkd dkdjio wjejeeelelelelele.</p>

There is no definitive answer that using <hn> tags will give any more weight in the SEs algo. They may when used correctly as headings but as inline text it will break up the structure as seen by SE crawlers, text browsers, disability aids, braile/screen readers etc.

Maybe read the page referenced in this HR Thread before continuing this process

just use the document structure elements as they should be used you can't go wrong that way.
