Has anyone worked with this. We almost seem to run out of netapp filer disk space because of some runaway process and the disk fills up....i mean fast.....if anyone has any ideas on how to check which file or which process is filling up the disk space...feel free to put as much info as you could.
we have used du commands....ls -latr.....and we haver our own scripts but that take times.....

Well, as you say, something like du -ks * | sort -n to find the biggest directory, cd into it and repeat. And when you track down the file you can use fuser to find out which process has it open. Annihilannic.
