<b>How to use Smart Viewer control in VB</b>

Hi all,

I am trying to use the Crystal Reports Smart Viewer in Visual Basic but I really don't have any idea how to use it and I was hoping someone could help.

I have designed several reports in the stand alone version of Crystal Reports (ver. 7). Essentially what I would like to do is use a common dialog box in VB to select an already existing report and then display that report in the VB application using the CR Smart Viewer.

If anyone knows how to do this I would greatly appreciate your knowledge and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

there are several Crystal Tutorials in your help files in Crystal that show you this, in fact you can go to crystals site and download a few programs that do exactly that
