Hi everyone,

I'd like to change the mac address on my IBM x235 server but the option doesn't seem avalaible when i get to the properties of the broadcom gigabit ethernet card. I tried to update its drivers but nothing has changed. Can somebody tell me how can I get this? Is there any particular driver/software?

Thanxs lot.

Technically this can't be done, on a hardware level, as all NICs have unique hard-coded MAC addresses, of course.

However, this can be spoofed using software. Linux is particularly good at this, or try one of these methods for W2k;
Caveat Emptor.
