Hi ALL,

somebody can guide me how we can convert our LSP to ESS , this S8510 server running on CM 5.1

Thanks in Advance

kind of a loaded question. do you have a G650/IPSI at that location? you also didn't say what version of CM you have. As far as I know, an ESS must be licensed to a G650/IPSI card. You would then need the proper migration license/RTU from AVAYA as well. You would reconfigure the server in "configure server", to set it up, of course there is a lot of administration to do in CM as well, such as removing the existing LSP ('remove survivable [node-name]'), adding in the new ESS server....

I think you will need a Business Partner/AVAYA for assistance on it, the licensing issues alone will stop most people.
