Hi All,

I'm trying to get a S8510 LSP server register to main server, which is again an S8510 server.

The setup at the customer site is a G450 Media gateway with the S8510 Main/LSP server.

Has anyone tried this configuration ? Please help me out.

Cheers

did you "add survivable" at the main site, with the node name that matches the IP of the LSP? On the S8510LSP, did you give it the main servers IP for the registration address and for the translations address (in the "configure LSP" section)

I assume you have loaded the LSP license as well...

Also, get into a "SAT" session, and do a "reset system 4" on the LSP, try and give it a kick :)

The serial number in the Media Gateway form MUST be correct... I found this otu the hard way.

I take that this is a new LSP. Make sure they are licensed to have LSP.

Also, check the versions and patches on the LSP. The version must me the same or higher than the main server.
