Hi,

I want to know what are the needed avaya hardware requirements for installing my LSP G350/S8300 PABX at my remote site. Do i need an E1 card?

That's all you need as a minimum, the S8300 server and G350 gateway. If you want local trunks, you could connect an analogue line to the gateway trunk port or you could install an MM710 for PRI trunks if required

ONsiteengineer,

I think that the s8300/G350 is a good solution. However, this depends on the size of the office. Also, how survivable do you want them to be? Our LSP are fully self sustaining. We have both POTS and T1 in each office. I also make use of these local services by routing calls from central office through these "Local" services. Free calls are always a good thing...
