lsmcode output 1

Hi

Can someone give me some pointers please? We have 2x P570 and 1x P520 all managed by the same HMC and I'm looking at some issues surrounding the lsmcode command output.

On all boxes, running the lsmcode command returns the output 'System Firmware level is Not Determinable.'

I have a change approved tomorrow to update the firmware on the 520 so I thought I'd check the Licensed Internal Code Readiness option via the HMC (V6 R1.3 MH01082) and it says it found no errors.

Any suggestions?

Is AIX diagnostics installed on the LPARs?
Is Service Authority installed on any LPAR?

So it seems that lsmcode output "not determinable" can be a bug in some firmware levels (not sure, but that's what I've undestood).
