Hi all,
When i run lscfg -vp to view system model and serial number, i found its missing. Is there any other command to know about system model, serial number.

Regards
sreekumar.

lsvpd | grep "*SE"

will show the serial number of the system, and

lsvpd | grep "*TM" | head -1

can show you the model number.

BUT, if is it not showing in lscfg, I suspect that it is because the Vital Product Data is missing from the ODM, so lsvpd may not show you anything.

Regards,
