I am running out of ideas on this one. Everytime the customer dials up to the internet. They are connected for about two minutes. A error screen comes up and says that the LSASSE.EXE has performed and error and is closing. A few moments later windows says that it is shutting down. Used virus, spyware, ect. No luck. Reinstalled windows with the windows XP Home Edition CD that came with there Gateway computer. Formated the hard drive and everything. Got everything reinstalled and the computer did the same thing again. The customer did the last reinstall but did everything as I told them. I am going back to fdisk the hard drive and try another version of windows, xp pro. The modem is working could this be a hardware problem and not software? I am not thinking so but I haven't encountered this problem before. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
