a XP SP1 system.. that worked fine suddenly had errors on screen
upon reboot, i got 2 errors

1 NCObjAPI.dll is wrong image and
2 LSASS.exe failed to initialize

I restored the first on eform XP cd in recovery , and now i do not receive that error..
but the LSASS error still happens and the screen just goes blank , not even safe mode works..

any ideas

Are you 110% sure you're not infected by some fishy
trojan.

Do a search on c: the MS$ one is at \Windows\system32
and the \Windows\system32\dllcache and they are 12KB in size.

Nickser reads its "master's" instructions from an encrypted script file located on the Web at

yeah its not a trojan.. i think something corrupted form the upgrading to XP from 98.. so i did a celan reinstall of 98 and xp working good now...
