3300 MXE 9 Ur2.

2 x LS/GS Trunks configured to connect to cellular terminal for sim to sim calls for mobile phones.

50% of calls work.
50% of calls fail.

ish...

The 50% that fail give back network busy tone. (that sounds nothing like 3300 busy tone).

Occasionally calls go out over the 2nd choice route - PRI.

LS/GS ports stat IDLE when Cellular term first connected, after attempting a call, whether the call is successful or fails the port stats as releasing for up to 10 minutes (never less than 5).

Changed programming of LS/GS trunks to all 6 ports. Exactly the same occurs.

Cellular terminal.

This has been installed and working for 18 months. Until last week.

Any obvious thoughts??

I had a similar problem with the Nokia PremiCell units I had to slow the digits down by creating and using a dial plan in the digit mod table try a 1 second delay and outpulse DTMF then apply this to the digit mod table you are using to access the Cell unit e.g absorb 1 insert <T01> and see if this makes any difference

I found it was that the speed of the LS/GS trunks DTMF detect was slower than the Mobile provider so slowing it down by 1 second alowed all the digits to be outpulsed
If you look in the SMDR trace you will probably see that it has miss dialled.

I like your thinking, but im afraid there is already a <T01> in the digit mod.

I didnt check the SMDR though.....
