I am confused as to what value the LRU Sitting Time is optimal. Of the 10 NW servers (mixed 4.11/5.1) here at this site, LRU Sitting Time is usually in the 3 to 5 hr range. On one server it is even over 11 days. I don't seem to be having any apparent issues because of this, but these values seem to be way over the Novell recommendations.
Any input/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The LRU (Least Recently Used) sitting time identifies least recently used data blocks, that is, blocks that have been in cache the longest time without being accessed. A high LRU sitting time indicates that the server has sufficient memory to handle disk requests or that requests are fairly static.

I would not worry. This server with the LRU over 11 days, is it heavily used?

Anyway, if it 'aint broke, don't try and fix it! -----------------------------------------------------

Thanks - that makes sense. The server whose LRU is over 11 days is not used much at all (at least for now).
