I can't find any man pages for lquerypr. We recently had an HACMP (4.5, AIX 5.1) failover and the hacmp.out shows disks reserved by a different node. It then runs lquerypr -v -V -p -h /dev/vpath?. Does anyone know the meanings of the flags ? Does one of them reset the reserve ?

From the "Subsystem Device Driver User's Guide":

lquerypr command

Flags

–p If the persistent reservation key on the device is different from the current host reservation key, it preempts the persistent reservation key on the device.

–c If there is a persistent reservation key on the device, it removes any persistent reservation and clears all reservation key registration on the device.

–r Removes the persistent reservation key on the device made by this host.

–v Displays the persistent reservation key if it exists on the device.

–V Verbose mode. Prints detailed message.

See the SDD user's Guide (ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/subsystem/UG/1.6.2.x/f2bsdu07_English_version.pdf), you should find a short man page on lquerypr in there. Failing that, just google for lquerypr to find more info.
