Hi!

I am a newcomer on the md110 and i have got many questions about it. Such as, if it is possible to make a fw-update of a lpu5-board? I will attach cnbip and i hope if you can tell me, which boards must be updatet. I have got a BC12 SP7

I have updatet niu from r2a to r19a but when i try to update lpu to r8a i get following printout:

SPONTANEOUS PRINTOUT

DOWNLOAD INFORMATION
DOWNLOAD FAILED IN LIM 1
FAILED BPOS REASON
001-0-70 TIME OUT FROM BOARD
DOWNLOAD COMPLETED

I tried to update it with: cnbli:bpos=1-0-70,path=/sysn/usr1/lpu5/lpu5r8a.fw;

In order to upgrade the LPU5 you need to programme the Appropriate EPROM and change over with the existing ones.

If I remember right to go from R4A to the latest which is R11 you need to upgrade both EPROMS and the Memory SIMS as well.

This should come as part of the Upgrade Kits from Ericsson when you order an Upgrade.
