When I make a lpstat, I got this,

can't open output queue file

What went wrong? Kindly advise. Thank you

is your print scheduler running ?

try stopping & re-starting it ( /usr/lib/lpshut ) stop

/usr/lib/lpsched &) start

I did but it doesn't work. One thing, during reboot, Start HP Distributed Printer Service fail...

Out of wit.

When you ran /usr/liblpsched start, did it print any errors or give some indication that it wasn't working correctly?

Oh and what do the log files in /var/lp/logs (I think this is the location) say? These should contain additional info on problems that might be occuring.
