Hello everybody!

It's my first topic on the forum, sorry for my poor english :)

So, I just migrate a system from 4.3.3 to Aix 5.2.0, and after command lppchk -v, I got this error :lppchk: The following filesets need to be installed or corrected to bring
the system to a consistent state:

devices.pci.48110040 (not installed; requisite fileset)
devices.pci.331121b9 (not installed; requisite fileset)
devices.pci.331121b9 (not installed; requisite fileset)
devices.isa_sio.PNP0501.rte (not installed; requisite fileset)
devices.pci.86808404.rte 4.3.0.0 (not installed; requisite fileset)
devices.sys.pci.rte 4.2.1.0 (not installed; requisite fileset)

Why my system require fileset 4.2.1.0 on a version 5.2 ???

I'm disapointed...
Bye

That's the release nuber off the fileset not directly linked with the Os version. They change independently.

Hi,

You must have a software with this filesets in prerequisites. I have had that because i had forget to remove ADSM package. You can use too lslpp to see some older package not removed.

Good luck
