I posted earlier about the LPI 101 exam. I've since passed it, but now I need to find some good practice exams for the 102 exam, if they exist. I passed the 101 exam by studying the objectives and practicing. I also read the LPI 101 Exam Cram and LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell books. I'm going to use the same books for 102 (LPI 102 Exam Cram and the second part of the Nutshell book). I think I will need more for the 102 exam as it looks a lot harder. Are there practice exams out there for LPI 102? Has anybody passed this? Has anybody taken the LPIC-2 exams?

Thanks,
CP

I did the 102 test with just the exam cram book. Watch out, though, some of the practice tests give the wrong answers.

GoldenEternity,

Was the 102 exam a lot harder than the 101? Does the Exam Cram book cover all of the topics you saw on the exam?

Chris

I found it to be more difficult... I scored about the same on 101 and 102, but I actually studied for 102.

I don't think that the exam cram book covered everything on the test, but it was enough for me to pass. Of course the problem I had is that I don't run sendmail or nfs and I hadn't touched lpd when I took the exam... If you actually use the things they're testing you on, you'll be in much better shape than I was.

There's also a big emphasis on command line args/switches in the 102 exam.
