Hi folks,
I'm doing the admin job on a little linux network (30 boxes, office environment), running NFS (yeah, weak).
everything worked fine until maybe two weeks ago, when printing started to go terribly wrong...
The problem is, that your print jobs aren't sent to the printer (HP LaserJet), they remaing in the local queue. After restarting the lpd on a machine, ONE printjob goes to the printer, the others remain in the queue... Actually sometimes it is working, then all the "old" documents are printed... It is really annoying as I don't have the time to run around from desk to desk restarting lpds... Has someone seen something like that before?
regards
chenn
